The Midway Fire Foundation is a community-driven organization dedicated to supporting the courageous men and women of the Midway Fire Rescue Department. Our mission is to ensure that these everyday heroes have the tools, training, and resources they need to protect our homes, families, and neighbors safely and effectively.
Every day, the firefighters of Midway put themselves on the line to respond to emergencies, save lives, and protect property. At the Midway Fire Foundation, we honor their extraordinary commitment by providing support in four key areas:
Training & Education
We fund specialized training, conferences, and educational programs that help our firefighters stay prepared for the challenges they face. From advanced firefighting techniques to emergency medical response, these programs ensure our team remains skilled and ready for any situation.
Equipment & Gear
Safety is paramount in firefighting. The Foundation helps supply essential protective gear and equipment – sometimes providing items that go beyond what the county can provide – so our firefighters are fully equipped to handle emergencies efficiently and safely.
Benevolence & Family Support
The Foundation offers direct assistance to firefighters in need, as well as support for their families. Whether it’s during times of personal hardship or unexpected circumstances, we ensure our firefighters know their community stands behind them.
Scholarships
Education is a cornerstone of opportunity. The Foundation provides scholarships for the children of Midway firefighters and supports trade or vocational programs, helping families build a brighter future while recognizing the dedication of those who serve.
